About Sighting Zones

Most named public places found on a map qualify as a zone. This includes parks, airports, stations, neighborhoods and universities. Commercial and private zones are not supported. When you make a zone, once approved, it becomes a public address on iSawYou for anyone to visit or post in. They never expire.

Instant approval relies on your device sharing an accurate location, which can vary by country, hardware, and browser. If location isn't available or you've previously denied permission for this site, your suggestion still submits normally - it just goes to the usual review instead of being approved instantly, and nothing is lost.
