at a café.

can’t remember what you were wearing, or even what you really looked like, because i couldn’t bring myself to stare. couldn’t tell if you were annoyed, bothered by my noise since you were working on your laptop, just looking out the window, or hopefully curious? i stayed a while with my drink. wish i had looked more.
