Sighting

We were standing together at a crosswalk (7th and K St NW, headed towards New York Ave NW), waiting for the light to change. I decided to take a chance and cut across, only to have you follow my lead. And, whoops, I got us both stranded in traffic! You were really friendly and good natured about it, and I enjoyed getting to talk to share our weird coincidence re: Jeopardy clues. Never thought I’d strike up conversation with a stranger like you, but it was nice to have company while playing Frogger.

I turned off to go home, while we were still talking about DC drivers. I’m kicking myself for not walking with you longer. I don’t even know if you’re gay, but you did make me smile and you were easy to talk to (and very cute too).
