Sighting

It was Wednesday, 03/08/2011. I keep a journal and I just looked up the date because I remember writing about this. I was waiting for the bus and I remember it was dark, about eight or nine o’clock. I was 29, a brunette, looking very leggy, and probably glowing in the dark because I’m so pale.

You were driving by and pulled over suddenly when you saw me. You asked me what I was up to that evening and asked if I wanted to go get a drink. I seemed very put off and declined. I was caught off guard, and thought you wanted me to get into the car with you. It was only after you drove away (sounding very disappointed by the way) that my brain caught up to what just happened, and I realized you were cute, exactly my type, and I wish I had thought to tell you to meet me somewhere.

This was a million years ago and I was mad at myself for a week afterwards. Every once in a while,  this memory pops into my head and I wonder if you’re still available or if we’d even click.

Hopefully you remember something about what I was wearing and what type of accent I have…
