Sighting

You caught me. Mid solo silent disco, mid shoulder shimmy, both on our way to work, both travelling in different directions, across Portobello bridge.

You smiled at me across the canal. A smile so organic, so surprising and so handsome, that it upended my world - literally, I tripped over my own feet. When I looked back? You had cycled away.

I still think about that day - and it brings a smile to my face, every single time. I’d like to see your smile, again.
