😍 Beautiful, blonde lady, walking down the hill outside the art-supplies shop.
You’re aged around (this is a tricky one for a chap) fifty to sixty(?) and *stunningly* good-looking (your husband is a lucky man).
You were wearing a lovely pale-blue ensemble, which perfectly complemented your ash-blonde hair.
You were with another lady (your daughter, perhaps? but my eyes didn’t stray that far to the right!)
The time was a little before 1:00pm
You were heading towards town.
My guess is you had parked at the multi-storey, further up the hill.
I was the blonde chap in the short, blue jacket and light-coloured trousers, walking up the hill.
I spotted you - my heart skipped a beat or two - and then I noticed you looking back at me… I mean *really* looking.
(I’d like to take this opportunity to apologise for staring, but what’s a chap to do, eh?)
But it was when you smiled at me…
It was like walking into a wall of light and honey. My mind took a snapshot. And then you were gone. (But if I close my eyes, and I can still see you.)
I may have made a little squeaking sound, but I know I said “Hello”... I just hope it didn’t sound too desperate.
I seriously toyed with the idea of turning round and hurrying after you - but that could have ended very badly (or just embarrassingly) - so common-sense prevailed.
I know this is a needle-in-a-haystack situation, but I would SO like to see you to speak to, and to offer lunch somewhere nice (The Ivy, would do nicely)
That’s it.
Nothing else. 😊
It doesn’t happen very often in life, that heart-stopping encounter, but it happened yesterday.
Thank you.
