Sighting

We sat kitty-cornered from each other on a Lisbon Metro linha Verde train. You were reading bell hooks’ “The Will To Change” and I asked if you knew “All About Love”. You said your name was Olinda, after your grandma, and smiled with your eyes.

The conversation was interrupted when you got to your stop and I was left wishing we had started an international book club.
