Sighting

I don’t know if you’ll ever read this, but I still can’t stop thinking about you. We were on the same flight from Bologna Airport to Munich on July 31.

I first saw you in the boarding line — we locked eyes there, and again on the bus to the plane. You sat a few rows behind me, maybe three or four. After we landed in Munich, we ended up walking next to each other for a short time as we got off the bus and walked toward the terminal. You had a carry-on suitcase and another bag.

There was something in the way you looked at me that made me think — maybe you felt it too. I didn’t do anything, and I’ve regretted it ever since.
