Dorset - Man in his 30s with his parents and a dog on evening walk
On a special Dorset beach at evening time on 19th September 2022, I’d been for a coastal run and then a swim. You were with your parents and a dog, I’d said hello to you all separately not realising you were all together at first. You caught my eye and I wanted to chat but was too shy to. You were very handsome and had walking boots on. You look like someone I already knew and someone I could be friends with. I passed you and your parents a few times and on my way back to the car after my swim where my mum was, I made an attempt to talk with you and your mum as you were photographing the beautiful, dramatic grey cloud filled sunset skies. I commented on how amazing the sky was then walked on feeling shy not knowing what to say next! And shivering in my swimming gear!! Back at the car I tried to get changed quickly so I could come and find you to try chat to you again, and even told my mum I said mum there’s a nice chap over there with his folks, how can I say hello!! But by the time I’d got myself sorted you and your parents had walked on and gone already. I even tried to come look for you again! I don’t know if you even noticed me, but I noticed you and seeing you I felt like you were someone I’d like to know. As a shy person & introvert it can be hard instigating conversations. It’s a long shot trying on here, but as I’m not on social media I thought I’d give it a try! Maybe we’ll bump into each other again out walking on a path, hill, field, coastal path or at the same beach! Or maybe not and it was one of those moments but thought I’d give it a try…!! We seemed to be of a similar age but I wondered I might have been a bit older than you, and have thought oh no maybe I’m much older! I’m away on holiday in the area. Maybe you are too or you might be local. Kind of mad asking seeing as we barely spoke but if you’d like to go for a walk or a coffee or tea and you even remember who I am then please let me know!! It’d be great to hear from you and have a chatter!
