Sighting

I was sitting down on the bench in the center of the room, half asleep and half looking at the impressionesque paintings on the wall. I was looking around the room when we locked eyes. A girl in a white dress was sitting next to me, but as soon as she moved, you sat down. The way you tried to get my attention was so beautiful. You put on lip balm and either buttoned your shirt or unbuttoned it, I am not sure. You sat there for a lone while and waited for me to speak as you pretended to look at paintings. The feelings were deep and powerful, and somehow as if by a stroke of luck or God’s hand, the room emptied, and it was just me and you, although, I did not speak for I was struck with such powerful feelings, I looked for you again and did see you at the park in Madrid, but once again, I was a coward. I hope you see this, I hope you can forgive me, I embarrassed us both. . .if it’s you, you know what I mean.
