Sighting

We saw each other while waiting at a B gate to board Southwest flight 2097 from Cleveland to Midway Friday September 4 some time around 1:30pm. We saw each other when I moved from across the gate area to near where you were sitting to be ready to queue. I think you saw me first. Or maybe not. All I know was that when I noticed you, you appeared to be looking at me. Maybe you were looking past me. Maybe you were simply reading my blue shirt. But I thought you were looking at me, and, well, my heart skipped a beat. Then our eyes met and you held my gaze until I looked away. When I looked back, you were still looking toward me. We kept stealing glances. I wish I had had the courage in the moment to say something. Alas, we boarded.

In Midway, I ran into you in the bathroom. Our eyes met again. You were behind me as we headed toward baggage claim. I spun around once and was thrilled to see you still there. I thought maybe I could approach you at baggage return. But I did not go to baggage return, and I don’t know if you did or did not.

So I am throwing this out there just in case. You handsome man with black hair and a bum knee who was wearing a grey-ish Jesus shirt who met my gaze as I stood there with a blue shirt and blue duffel bag, feel free to reach out to me if you are single and looking.
