Sighting

We crossed paths on the Northern line at Kennington station on Wednesday, 22nd January, while changing trains towards Morden. On the platform, you stood beside me, and we exchanged a few glances on the train.

You got off at Balham, and as I tried to wave at you from the other door, you had already gone past the way out. I’ve been thinking about that moment and regretting not saying hello.
