Sighting

I first noticed you at the LEGO House in Billund — you stood out with your “Disney prince” hair. Days later, I couldn’t believe it when you were at my gate in Amsterdam. You came up to me and joked, “I feel like you think I’m dying and need to tell me something.” I was embarrassed and just shook my head.

During boarding, we both got stopped for random checks — you smiled at me then, and again as you passed my seat with a wave. After landing, I wanted to give you a note but chickened out. At baggage claim, you lingered behind your mom, “distracted” by your phone, and walked slowly past me. I wish I had said something.
