Sighting

I know it’s been about 20 years, but this memory has always stuck with me, and I’ve always regretted not speaking up.

Back around the summer of 2005 or 2006, I was on the little ferry boat going over to St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall. I’m a blonde guy, and during the short trip across the water, I caught eyes with a girl who had wavy auburn/reddish hair.

She was travelling with her family, including her little sister. We shared a smile, and there was an undeniable, instant connection in that moment, but the boat docked, life happened, and we went our separate ways.

If you are that girl, if you remember a fleeting moment with a blonde guy with ripped jeans on that boat trip, or if your sister or family member has ever mentioned this over the years, I’d love to finally say hello.
