Sighting

On Jan 3, we were on the same flight from Cebu to Puerto Princesa. We switched seats because he was too tall to fit in the middle seat (I took the empty window seat and gave him my aisle seat). The flight attendant got a little mad that we changed (she needed to document that the passenger from the actual empty seat was a no-show by taking a picture). She asked him if he was Mr John. He said no, and I think he said he was Mr Michael. We didn’t chat more until landing. We were both going to be in El Nido later. I’m from the US (Pennsylvania), he told me his English teacher was from Philadelphia. We chatted a bit. He said maybe we’d see each other in El Nido and that he’d be laying on the beach all day. Sadly, I didn’t see him in El Nido as my friend and I were busy with island hopping tours. The one day we tried to go to Nacpan beach, torrential downpour started and we ran back to the car. I was traveling with an older lady from the UK. We had separate hotels when we got back to Manila for the last 2 nights before returning home. She said she saw him at her hotel (Belmont Hotel near the airport) on Jan 12 and took a pic to show me, but she was too shy/embarrassed to speak to him because he didn’t pay any attention to her on the flight when we were chatting. Maybe the powers of the internet can help me find him? 😊
