😍 Love of Cali in Miami ❤️ Amor de Cali en Miami

To the woman from Cali I loved — faith, salsa, and the life we dreamed of
We didn’t just cross paths once. We spent many months together in Miami, and we were in love. I still remember the nights dancing salsa, laughing, and talking about life for hours. When we danced, it felt effortless — like we understood each other without words.
You told me about your family in Cali, and I remember hoping that one day I would meet them. I imagined sitting with them, sharing stories, and building a life together.
What mattered most to me, though, was our faith. Being Catholic means believing that marriage is not just a ceremony but a sacred covenant — a solemn and indissoluble bond before God. I always hoped for that kind of true love: one rooted in grace, honesty, forgiveness, and the sacrament itself.
As St. Augustine taught Christians in difficult times: “God has promised forgiveness to your repentance, but He has not promised tomorrow to your delay.” Those words stayed with me because they remind us that truth and reconciliation matter more than pride or silence.
Maybe we remember things differently now. But I have never forgotten the love we shared or the life we once imagined. If you ever think about those nights in Miami — the music, the laughter, and the faith we shared — I hope you remember that some things in life are meant to be sincere and lasting.
If part of your heart still remembers what we had, know that I once hoped for a true marriage with you, blessed by God and faithful to the end.
Perhaps our story is not finished yet.
