Sighting

We met on the 16th of July 2025 at the Vienna airport, in the Austrian Airlines lounge. I am the tall girl with long dark hair. You walked in as I was passing by, and we smiled at each other. Later, I found you standing behind me at the gate, waiting for a flight originally scheduled for 17:15, delayed by 30 minutes.
You ended up sitting in business class, just two rows behind me. We exchanged glances during the flight, and somehow that continued all the way to Heathrow, where we queued for passport control. The circumstances never quite allowed us to speak, but our looks said more than words could have.
The connection felt unreal—like I already knew you, even though we had never met before. I guess that you are a tennis coach. You reminded me a little of Marc Blucas, though that has nothing to do with what I felt in that moment.
It’s been almost a year, and I still can’t stop thinking about you.
