Sighting

We crossed paths in Fisher Place off Rundle Mall on Monday 22 June. You arrived shortly after I did. You were wearing knee-high boots and lit your cigarette with matches, which I thought was effortlessly cool. We kept catching each other’s eye, but I was with a friend and never worked up the nerve to say hello.
