Sighting

We were both waiting in line at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park lunch canteen.  You were dark haired, pretty, wearing an extra t-shirt that made me ask if you were a staff member, and visiting from Bristol with your in-laws.  I’m British but was visiting from California with my three grade-school kids and my parents.  There was just a moment, a beautiful moment.  We exchanged parent experiences of young kids vs older kids.  It wasn’t until I’d returned to my family that I realized how much I’d appreciated your energy, and our connection.  I looked for you but YSP is a big place.  Hope you read this, and if you do, then say hello.
