Sighting

We met each other in the building A lift at Pace of Blackburn around 8:20pm on Sunday 30 March 2025.

I’m the Asian guy who entered the lift from level 1 and exited on B1. You were the nurse wearing a dark teal uniform that was coming down from some floor above and heading to B2. You had your black/brown hair in a ponytail and you looked like you were half Asian.

I was initially looking down but as I entered the lift I looked up and saw you greet me with a lovely big smile. I said “Hii!” and you said “How are you?” With an uncontrollable smile on my face I replied “I’m good, how are you?” It was all a bit blurry after that and I know I turned my back on you but not because I wasn’t interested…it was because I was in too much shock. I felt things I never felt before in my life. You may recall that I barely managed to say goodbye before walking out of the lift.

You really took me by surprise and I’ve never felt an instant spark like that with anyone before.

I’ve been looking for you for the past four months with no luck. Now I suspect you’re no longer living in the building.

I know the universe probably won’t allow me to see you ever again but I’m still going to post this anyway and leave it up to fate.

I wish we could have the conversation we should have had that night…
