Sighting

We were waiting for the train at platform 5 today, locking eyes multiple times. We then got into the same coach before 4PM, and sat, with you in the double open seat, in your North Face jacket, and feet on your grey suitcase. I was in the first row in front of your seat, diagonally, sitting down with my own suitcase. Then, before the train took off, I decided to stand up and stand next to the door instead as I was uncomfortable in a tight space with my suitcase and wanted to stretch my legs after a long flight. I also wanted to face your direction instead of having my back towards you. After that, more people got on and I had to change where I was standing multiple times before getting off at Wolverhampton, and probably never seeing you again after continuing North on the train. I’m still angry at myself that I didn’t have the courage to talk to you or even approach you, and if by any small chance you find this post, I would not let that mistake happen again. [26/01/24]
