Sighting

It was my first day on Tenerife and sadly, your last. You are a Brit, mid 20’s, nickname is Domino, but never got your real one. We spent an hour together at Loro Parque, where you bored me with your zoological knowledge. I didn’t care as long as I could watch the way you tossed back your hair. I was the backpacking surfer who had to go to catch my dive boat. We made tentative plans to meet later but you never showed.
