Sighting

I was stood behind you in the queue whilst you were waiting to pay for your car parking on Thursday 13 November ‘25, sometime between 3.30 and 4.45pm at the Fishergate Shopping Centre Car Park, near to the stairs and opposite Preston Railway Station.

You had beautiful, very long, straight, fair hair and were wearing a camel coloured coat.  After you paid you turned around, picked up a large bag, looked at me, gave me a lovely smile and slowly walked away.

After I paid I started to walk to my car which was at the back of the car park and at the opposite end to where the pay machines are.  The car park walkway has zebra crossing lines which run down the middle and I could see you stood in the distance just opposite my car.  As I approached you looked at me, laughed and said “I’ve lost my car”.  I said not to worry as we have all done that at some point.

You walked passed me as I put my jacket in the back of my car and as I turned around you were stood in front of my car just across the car lane looking at me and smiling, I said to try pressing your key fob so that the lights on your car would light up to help you find it.  I really should have come to help you, I’m sorry that I didn’t.

As I started to drive away you crossed back over the car lane in front of me, smiled again and said something I couldn’t hear.  I put my window down and asked if you had found your car and you said you had.

As I pulled around to the lane to exit the car park I could see you stood at the back of your car with the rear boot/hatchback open and you were putting something inside.  You stopped and looked at me for a little longer and smiled again, I said that I hoped you had a nice evening and then drove out of the car park.

I thought about stopping and coming over to speak with you but I didn’t, I don’t know why, probably because I was too shy. 

I know it was just a passing moment but you brightened my day.

Maybe we could start with a walk or coffee and cake, whatever you are comfortable with.
