Sighting

I was sat speaking with my friend. I’m pretty sure you got on between Maida Vale and Paddington. You sat directly in front of me and we smiled at each other immediately. I recall you having lovely curly hair. The topic of conversation with my friend was heavy, but your glow out the corner of my eye provided a wonderful respite.

You got off at Oxford Circus, the same stop as my friend. But you turned around and smiled at me one last time as you exited the tube. I wish we could’ve spoken. I wonder if my orange glasses were what encouraged your energy…
