To the guy in the white shirt, grey trousers, dark hair, and blue eyes at Southwark Station during the heatwave…

We were among the crowd forced to disembark when everything came to a standstill. You were standing there looking remarkably composed despite the chaos and the heat.

I was the woman in the long green dress and white trainers.

I kept thinking about saying hello and never did. So this is me taking a very belated chance instead.

If by some miracle you remember the woman in green, I’d love to hear from you. It turns out my biggest regret from that journey wasn’t the disruption, it was not introducing myself.
