Sighting

To the tall, dark, and handsome guy at the bar… you melted my heart. I wanted nothing more than to abandon the work conversation I was in and have a drink with you. It was a brand new work connection, so felt like I couldn’t disengage.

I actually had the gumption to call the restaurant from my car ride home to ask the bartender to share my number with you. But as luck would have it, you had already left. How tragic for me.

I’m the tall blond woman with the chunky glasses. Even if nothing comes of this, I’m grateful for the lesson you gave me… to shoot my shot in the future!!!
