Sighting

I was the passenger in the aisle seat in the second row of the emergency exit. You were the flight attendant sitting in the jump seat during takeoff and landing, looking back toward the cabin and catching my eye between the seats.
I didn’t want to interrupt your work or look like a creep by bothering you on board. When we landed, you were stuck at your seat while the rush of other passengers pushing to get off made it impossible to say anything.
Your smiles really made my flight. A week has passed, but I still can’t get them out of my head.
