Sighting

You sat down at the other end of the bench from me, journaling. “How rare,” I thought, “in this day and age.” I didn’t want it to go unnoticed, and told you your handwriting was beautiful. I said I was visiting from Boston, USA; you had moved here from Washington D.C., and work for a Big 4 Accounting firm. Our conversation was so fleeting as you had to carry on to a class. I’m in envy that you have been able to establish a career here. I’d love to get to know you better.
