Sighting

I saw you in the boarding line. You saw me. You looked at me and smiled like you’d know me a lifetime, like you’d been waiting for me for ever. Your smile and beauty shook me to my my core.

I stupidly let my RSD get the better of me. I left the flight without engaging you… I’m such a fool. I feel like I’ve cheated the universe, stolen our moment from fate. While I know I don’t deserve one, I’m laying down this breadcrumb so that on the off chance you see it, you might give me a second chance and the opportunity to amend this missed-connection.
