We met on Rue Montmartre, watching some skaters doing tricks
You told me you’d been traveling alone through Bordeaux and Nantes, that your friends were playing at a festival
You mentioned your hotel had mice and that you hadn’t tried a proper Parisian meal yet
I laughed about my terrible English accent and you didn’t judge me you just smiled, and that made it easy to talk !
I wish I’d offered to take you to dinner just to show you a better side of the city
I didn’t ask for your contact, and I’ve been thinking I should have
If by any chance you see this, I hope Paris treated you kindly after that day
